A world connected

What's New: Intercultural Development

Globally oriented, we are committed to developing dynamic and inclusive learning communities.

Through an inclusive teaching and learning approach, the Centre contributes to the intercultural understanding and positive relationships among learners, College faculty and staff, and community members.

We embed intercultural competency skills in the programs and training that we offer. We provide customized diversity and inclusion workshops for college staff and faculty to equip learners for successful living, lifelong learning, and work in a global, knowledge-based environment.

As part of the Centre for Excellence in Immigrant and Intercultural Advancement, the Intercultural Centre (IC) was developed to foster and advance diversity and inclusivity at Bow Valley College.

Located on the third floor of North Campus, the IC is a connecting place for the college commmunity providing training, workshops, community volunteerism, and College wide events for staff, faculty, and learners.
